Founded and operated by a fire-life-safety professional with industry experience dating back to 1998, Alarm Pros is built on decades of real-world knowledge.
Starting in 1998, the owner began his career with a service and inspection company specializing in Common Interest Developments (CID) and HOA residential communities. During this time he gained extensive experience in:
– Fire alarm systems
– Access control
– Telephone entry systems
– System design and retrofits
– Troubleshooting and testing
– Residential and multi-family life-safety systems
Over the next eight years, he worked his way up from Technician → Senior Technician → Trainer → Code Consultant → Designer/Engineer, earning a reputation for technical skill, integrity, and reliability — all without needing a formal engineering degree.
After outgrowing the residential-only environment, he transitioned into the commercial fire alarm industry, working for major electrical contractors as a Fire Alarm Project Manager and later Senior Fire Alarm Project Manager. He has successfully developed, sold, and managed projects ranging from $500 service calls to large-scale, multi-million-dollar commercial facilities, malls, and high-rise systems.
Despite overseeing major commercial work, the passion for serving everyday customers never faded — which is why Alarm Pros continues to operate as a company where customer service, transparency, and trust come first.
